The topic for our virtual July meeting from Jan Runkel’s 3rd Virtual Class is :
Knitting in the round
There’s more than one way to knit in the round. You probably have a favorite!
The 4 basic methods are:
- Knitting with One Circular Needle
- Knitting with Two Circular Needles
- Knitting with Double Pointed Needles
- Knitting with Magic Loop
In preparation for our knitted mitt knit-along this fall, we’re sharing one of these methods each week. Try a new one, or watch a video to pick up a new tip or two!
My favorite trick to keep from twisting those stitches is to work one or 2 rows “flat” before joining. It’s much easier to see that the stitches aren’t twisted, and you can use the tail from the cast-on to join those 2 rows!
