More knitting teachers are needed for the San Jacinto High School for one hour on Tuesday mornings. Interested members can contact Louise Wolf.

The following workshops for 2018/2019 were announced by Paula Durant:

• Adventures in Crazy Lace by Myra Wood, November 13, 2018, 9-4 (class was cancelled in the meantime).
• Cecilia Campochiaro, January 2019, class to be announced.
• Laura Bryant, April 1, 2019, class to be announced (class was cancelled in the meantime).

Community knitting:

• Louise Wolf presented knitted teddy bears to the Indio Police Station. The bears are distributed to build trust with children who are in dangerous situations. Small bears can fit in the bags of motorcy
• Barbara Brown needs 900 kindergarten hats by December 1st.
• Rachel Harris showed a completed blanket made from charity squares for Shelter in the Storm.

Designer of the month:

• Beatrice Soila presented the work of Veera Välimäki. See the separate post of her work.
